Welcome to Moonphase Mods. By accessing this website or purchasing from Moonphase Mods, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Independent Business
Moonphase Mods is an independent custom watch modification business.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or authorized by Omega SA, Swatch AG, Seiko, Rolex, TAG Heuer, or any other watch manufacturer unless expressly stated.
All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
2. Genuine Components
Many of our builds incorporate genuine components originally purchased through authorized retail channels.
Other components, including but not limited to cases, crystals, bracelets, bezels, crowns, casebacks, and other accessories, may be sourced from reputable third-party manufacturers.
Each product description identifies the major components used in that build.
3. Nature of Custom Builds
Every watch sold by Moonphase Mods is a custom modified timepiece.
These watches have been altered from their original factory configuration.
Because of these modifications:
- Manufacturer warranties no longer apply.
- Factory water-resistance ratings no longer apply.
- Future servicing may require independent watchmakers.
4. Cosmetic Variations
Minor cosmetic differences may occur between watches.
Examples include:
- Hand alignment
- Lume color
- Brushing
- Polishing
- Small machining marks
- Manufacturing tolerances
- Color differences between production batches
These variations are considered normal and are not defects.
5. Product Photography
We make every effort to accurately represent each product.
Actual colors may vary depending on:
- Monitor calibration
- Mobile displays
- Lighting conditions
- Camera settings
Product photos are intended to represent the product as accurately as possible but are not guaranteed to be identical.
6. Ordering
Customers are responsible for reviewing all product descriptions before placing an order.
Once production begins, orders cannot be changed or cancelled.
7. Shipping
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days unless otherwise stated.
Tracking information will be provided when available.
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Moonphase Mods is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Shipping carriers
- Customs processing
- Weather
- Government inspections
- Incorrect shipping information
8. International Orders
International shipping is available to select countries.
International shipping is charged at a flat rate of $25 USD.
Buyers are solely responsible for:
- VAT
- Import duties
- Customs fees
- Brokerage fees
- Taxes imposed by their country
These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges.
Orders refused because customs fees were not paid are not eligible for refunds.
9. Returns & Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final.
We do not offer refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Buyer’s remorse
- Incorrect ordering
- Cosmetic preferences after delivery
10. Mechanical Warranty
Every watch is inspected and tested prior to shipment.
If a mechanical issue develops within 30 days of delivery, contact us before attempting repairs.
Many issues can be resolved through troubleshooting.
If warranty service is required, replacement will be for the same movement and dial originally purchased.
Warranty coverage does not include upgrades, exchanges to different models, or different movement types.
11. Water Resistance
While many of our cases are manufactured with water-resistant specifications, quality control and water resistance may vary between case and component suppliers. Because these watches are custom modified, Moonphase Mods cannot guarantee any specific level of water resistance.
Although many customers successfully wear their watches during normal daily use, we do not recommend wearing them in swimming pools or the ocean for extended periods of swimming.
Additionally, we do not recommend wearing any watch, regardless of manufacturer or water-resistance rating, in the following environments:
- Showers
- Hot tubs
- Saunas
- Steam rooms
Heat, steam, soaps, chemicals, and rapid temperature changes can compromise seals and may cause condensation or moisture to form inside the watch.
Water damage, moisture intrusion, and condensation are not covered under our mechanical warranty and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
12. Misuse
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage resulting from:
- Impact
- Drops
- Abuse
- Unauthorized repairs
- Improper operation
- Water damage
- Chemical exposure
- Excessive heat
- Accidents
13. Intellectual Property
All photographs, graphics, logos, product descriptions, website content, and original designs created by Moonphase Mods remain our intellectual property unless otherwise noted.
They may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
14. Limitation of Liability
Moonphase Mods shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the purchase or use of any product.
Our maximum liability shall never exceed the original purchase price of the product.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located within Florida.
